Tips from an Eve newbie for newbies

Tips from an Eve newbie for Newbies ( i.e All the shit that's uncomfortable to ask veterans,  brain dumped for your pleasure here )

o7 Pilots...  oh,  by the way,   o7 is a greeting used within Eve;  it took me a good week and a half to realise it's an emoticon, representing a salute within game,  with o/ being a wave/at ease goodbye - yup,  I'm really that slow...

So...  for many,  this series of blog articles will be teaching grandma how to suck eggs and not provide all that much value to those experienced within Eve Online;   however what I hope is that for those of you that are new to the game,  it provides a good headstart on some of the basics that I've uncovered in my journey so far,  particularly slanted towards the PVP experience

All of the knowledge within the articles posted below have come from a variety of sources,  including articles on Eve,  watching YouTube videos,   questions of more experience players within the game and just general tomfoolery making mistakes and learning from them.

My hope from this blog is that just one person gains a basic understanding of the game,  making it a little less daunting to get started in.

As a starting point,  I definitely suggest completing the new player tutorial and then moving on to all of the career missions;  these will give you a grounding in the fundamentals in game and a good start for understanding how Eve operates.

Feel free to reach out to me in game on David Cavalera if you read this guide and it helped you;  otherwise,  see you out there suckers.
